Trains connect with bus and boats to cover travel to
Phuket, Koh Tao, Koh Samui and other tropical islands of Thailand.
Bangkok Airport
There is a small station opposite Bangkok's Don Muang
International and domestic airport. Trains running north, north east
generally stop at this station. Please make a note in your booking
form if you wish to start your journey at Bangkok Airport.
Northern Thailand Train line
The train line terminates at Chiang Mai city.

North Eastern Thailand Train line
This train line goes to Nong Khai (Laos border) and covers the main
cities of North Eastern Thailand - commonly known as Issan.
Southern Thailand Train line
Runs from Bangkok to Singapore along the east side of peninsula
Thailand. Connections to Koh Samui, Koh Phangan Krabi and Phuket are
served by combo tickets which include bus and boat transfers. Return
tickets are via Surathani station. Koh Tao is served by Chumphon
station. We can issue tickets to Had Yai and 2nd class to Butterworth.
The train changes compartments at Had Yai and the 1st class carriages
are removed. We cannot arrange Malysian tickets after Butterworh or to
Singapore.
Eastern Thailand Train line
Two different lines. 3rd class only and travels to Pattaya, Chonburi,
Aranyapratet (Cambodia border). These are slow trains and no pre-booking
is possible.
