Itinerary

The holy shrine caves of Chiang Dao form the mouth of Northern Thailands largest network. Access to the inner caves is by oil lantern bearing local guides only. The temperature of the cavern is pleasantly cool. Adjacent grounds house a monastery and ponds filled with goldfish adorn the caverns entrance. After lunch a tribal expedition to the tribes of Lisu, Akha and Hmong follows to present an interesting blend of Thai and tribal lifestyle. We also go through a typical Thai village educating participants on the true routine of Thai country folk.
