The Northern region of Thailand is a wonderful place for sporting fanatics to indulge in their favourite pastime or simply watch their sport.

Chiang Mai city was the first non-capital city to host the prestigious South East Asian games, in 1995. As a result the city boasts of world class facilities in a number of sports. Olympic quality arena's, pools and grounds make up this modern complex. In contrast the country's oldest sports club, the Gymkhana is amongst the most beautiful the whole kingdom.

Matches, games and tournaments can easily be arranged, often at short notice. Participating skill levels can also be set to make for an exciting and competitive game of your choice.

Football players, supporters and travelling fans also have good reason to visit as the city attracts international quality competition.
