Jungle and Beaches

Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Hua Hin

Enjoy a unique trip to Northern and Central Thailand and spend time at the award winning Elephant Nature Park. This itinerary has been selected to combine the best of Thailand for school groups

Day 1.

• Arrive Chiang Mai
• Transfer and check into hotel
• If early afternoon or morning arrival activity can be arranged.
• 19:40 meal at hotel

Day 2.

• 07:00 depart Chiang Mai Hot spa Chiang Saen (1,200 year old) ancient historical town Optional boat ride on the Mae Khong River Golden Triangle views of three countries
• Buffet lunch by the Mae Khong river Mae Sai border town (crossing possible during certain periods)
• Tribal visits to Akha and Yao cultural villages Thaton border town
• Coffee break
• Return to Chiang Mai city
• Dinner at hotel

Day 3.

• 09:30 depart for visit to Elephant Nature Park for elephant education, bathing
• Buffet lunch
• Follow the footsteps of the elephant and learning about the natural habitat, jungle herbs and rare knowledge about these wonderful creatures.
• 19:00 Cultural dinner with troupes of exotic dancers, tribal exhibitions and sumptuous local food. The former Northern Royalty used this type of occasion to entertain and court high ranking officials and foreign envoys.
• 22:00 Return to hotel

Day 4.

• 09:30 Breakfast, our guide will take you on a tour of the city and surrounding craft villages where you will gain insight into the many different skills of local artisans from paper umbrellas, silk weaving and teak carving.
• 14:00 Return to hotel, lunch and check out of hotel
• Overnight train to Bangkok CNX - BKK

Day 5.

• Morning arrive BKK. Coach transfer to Hua-Hin (approx 3 hours)
• Accommodation at Hua Hin Hotel
• Day at beach or leisure

Day 6.

• Breakfast at hotel
• Driving south, approximately 2 hours, to the unspoiled "Bangsapan-noi" our journey continues on the clear inviting waters of the Thai gulf. A 30 minutes boat trip to "Koh Sing" island is where we explore lovely clear water with coral reefs and tropical fish. Continue to "Koh Talu" or Hole Island where refreshments are served, take a rest, then more snorkeling or swimming and sunbathing on the beach. Finally return by boat to mainland for lunch before returning to Hua-Hin.

Day 7.

• Breakfast and morning at leisure
• Transfer to Bangkok International airport or other onward destination.
