Group Care
In most circumstance students are under the care of their school
teachers. Our primary job is to ensure that timings and attractions appear
as per arranged itinerary. We help teachers when required and can take responsibility of the
group if necessary. Generally we provide 1 guide per 10 group
members. Several trips do not require guides and, for this reason, coverage
will vary.

Food & Diets
Allowances can be made for group members dietary
requirements. Vegetarian, Halal, Kosher, Vegan, nut allergies and others are
fully catered to. We provide fresh, locally grown, healthy produce whenever
possible. We offer a wide range of food that receives good responses from
our groups.
Types of food depend
on the trips location and duration. Barbecues are suitable for campfire
activities and lunch boxes are appropriate for picnics. Of course, we can
find a diet and eating style to suit your group. Fresh drinking water
is provided at camps and in vans. Soft drinks can also be provided upon
request. Other drinks
are usually available at camp and tour sites. Ice is safe when provided by
our drivers and guides. |
Travel and Ticketing Arrangements
Air, train, boat and coach tickets can be obtained for the group. We
can make travel, hotel and all trip arrangements to save your group organiser a significant amount of time. When necessary tickets will be
dispatched by EMS mail or courier. In addition to ticketing for groups we
provide a full travel agency service for individuals from our office. We are capable of
making arrangements for staff members travelling on their own and have hotel
contracts at very attractive rates throughout the region.

Equipment
Equipment is provided according to group needs. For overnight trips
accommodated at tribal huts or tents we strongly suggest that a
sleeping bag and inflatable pillow be made compulsory for all group
members. A list of suitable things to bring will be given at the time of
booking.
Budgets and Pricing
Trips are priced according to group strength, types of tours, number of
meals, chosen accommodation and other various factors. As group needs are
always different we provide quotations tailored specifically to your groups
needs.
Example: A complete 4 day, 3 night tour such as "Camp Site"
for a group of over 50 persons would cost in the region of between US$80 -
$100 per person and would include most meals, tours, accommodation and
entrance fees. Train transportation Bangkok-Chiang Mai-Bangkok costs around $
35
Lunch
boxes costs around $4, evening meals from $5 plus. We will prepare a special
cost for your group according to your specific requirements.
Hotels generally provide one complimentary half twin room per 16 rooms
booked (subject to a maximum of two rooms). We will advise on these policies
at the initial booking stages. It is advisable to build this into your group budget so that the teachers
costs can be incorporated.
Allergies
A list of participants allergies is requested so that we can make suitable
preparations. The details should be taken at the time of student booking and
given to us in advance of group arrival.
Safety and security
Safety and security are the most important factors in determining your
trip. We will make clear any potential problems that we feel necessary
whilst advising you of any situations that you should be aware of. We will
not operate tours or excursions in dangerous areas. Safety is our primary concern which is why we provide police protection
to overnight groups staying at camps or tribal villages.
Insurance
Our vans carry accident insurance. It is, however, the groups
responsibility to obtain suitable policies for the entire trip. We can
advise on suitable policies if requested.
Personal property and valuables
Any lost property that is left behind will be forwarded to the school's
address if found. Personal property is however, the responsibility of the
owner. All valuables should be left in the hotel safe and not in rooms. On
overnight trips no Jewellery or valuables should be taken.
Hospitals and health care
We can provide a list of suitable hospitals near-by to the chosen
accommodation. This has been requested by previous groups so that the school
can arrange a contract in case of emergencies. We will gladly act on your
behalf if you so require.
