Angkor Wat & the magnificent site of Angkor culture.

Regardless of how much you have read about it, how many photo's you have seen or how you expected it to be; the complex of Angkor will astound you.  The sheer size of the place leaves visitors in awe and the complex designs illustrate the skills of long gone priest architects.  Every spare inch has been carved with intricate works of art.

We recommend at least two days to see the main sites of which Angkor Wat is only a part. Different styles built over a period of 300 or more years testify to the brilliance of this ancient culture.

You don't have to be a serious temple enthusiast to enjoy the wonders of this incredible and gigantic site. It is a world wonder sure to impress.

Take in a sunset over the famous ruins or wake early to see the first light of the day sweep over any of the hundreds of ruins that make up Angkor.

Safety:
The area is safe, Khmer guerillas have left and land mines have been cleared n the main areas. If  traveling to remote, seldom visited areas consult hotel, driver or guide.
Site Entry Fees:
$20 one day, $40 two-three days, $60 one week. Included in any tour price booked via Thaifocus.
